Robert Stephens, Owner/CEO
Robert Stephens is co-founder and CEO of Recovery Journey Network. He has been in the substance abuse rehab industry since 2015 holding positions including Interim Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions and Admissions Coordinator. Robert struggled with alcoholism for 10 years before receiving inpatient and outpatient care. Staying involved in the industry and attending meetings has helped him maintain his sobriety since 2013. His passion has since been fueled to help others overcome their battle with addiction. Robert has a background in real estate, property management and as an electrician.
Tommy Morris, Owner/President
Tommy Morris is co-founder and President of Recovery Journey Network. He has been in the substance abuse rehab industry since 2011 holding positions including Business Development Liaison, Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions and Admissions Coordinator. Tommy's passion for the industry began a year and a half after he ended his 6 year struggle with pain pill addiction. Tommy served 3 years in the U.S. Army, serving a tour in Iraq and Kuwait. His background also includes working as a Veteran's employee assistant, and helping as a volunteer with the Navarre Youth Sports Association coaching soccer and softball.
Mary Popovich, LMHC
Mary is the Clinical Director at Recovery Journey. Mary is an LMHC and Qualified Clinical Supervisor. She earned her master's degree at Riviera College in New Hampshire. Mary is also a Certified Smart Recovery Facilitator. She has been providing addiction and recovery counseling to groups and individuals since 2000 and has been providing mental health counseling since 2004. Mary served as the Clinical Director of an inpatient treatment center prior to joining Recovery Journey Network and has written clinical programming as well as providing supervision to a clinical team. In her spare time Mary enjoys spending time on the sandy beaches of the Emerald Coast.
Amanda Bellis, RMHCI, CCTP
Amanda Bellis is a counselor at Recovery Journey Network. She holds a master's in psychology from University of West Florida with a specialization in mental health counseling. Amanda is also a Certified Smart Recovery Facilitator. She has provided therapeutic services to those with addiction and behavioral problems since 2015. Amanda developed a passion for working with addictions and mental health after witnessing multiple family members battle their own addictions. Amanda has worked with adults in residential rehabilitation, adults participating in drug court intensive outpatient groups, and adolescent males in corrections. Amanda has a background working with student advising and juvenile justice. She is currently pursuing a Certified Master's Level Addictions Professional (MCAP) certification as well as a mental health counseling license registered under the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling.
